12 Chinese Zodiacs and Their Traits
In Chinese Astrology, the Zodiacs are explained with the representation of animals. There are 12 Chinese Zodiacs in total and all have different traits which explain some facets of their personality. Even if you are somebody who does not believe in Astrology, it is worth knowing something that can give you valuable insights into your personality.
In the Chinese Zodiac System, we do not need to know the date or month of our birthday. If we just know the year we are born in, we are good to go to explore the world of Chinese Astrology with open hearts.
Rat
Rat represents wisdom
The Rat is the first Zodiac Sign in Chinese Astrology. The Rat is known to be very quick-witted, swift in action, smart, and even persuasive. As these are some strengths of the Rat, there are weaknesses too. Rat is quick to anger, stubborn, and somebody who likes to gossip a lot.

They do not like to explore new things or things out of their comfort zone. They are hardworking but a little narrow-minded. They are creative but a bit prejudiced. People deem them as lethargic and somebody who is not good at communication.

Horse
This sign is the most independent out of all others.
The Horse enjoys traveling. These people are energetic and active, popular, and have odd fashion choices. But sometimes they can be very arrogant. They possess an intelligence that is not of an intellectual type. They have a very strong emotional intelligence which makes them relatable and approachable to others.

The Sheep people are shy and peace-loving.
They do not like confrontation. They are imaginative and the dreamers of Chinese Zodiacs. However, they can be pessimistic to a point of no return. When things get rough, they turn their head from reality towards their imaginative world.

They are cheerful and represent flexibility.
This is the Ninth Chinese Zodiac Sign. These people are very loyal and like to be the initiators of change. They are also charismatic but can be restless and are irritable easily.

The people born in the year of the Dog of Chinese Astrology have the best traits of human nature.
I say this because they are extremely patient, giving, and loyal. Just like Dogs, they are self-righteous in their personality and straightforward with an intact moral code. But to others, they may seem cold. But when you get to know them, you will be pleasantly surprised by how warm and gentle they can be.
